A new study shows that EMDR Therapy beats the anti-depressant, paroxetine, in reducing symptoms of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome) in male survivors of war trauma.
Dr. Asad Ullah Jan, the researcher noted that “in Pakistan, all treatments, including medications, are free of charge.” “But EMDR (therapy) is becoming more acceptable, especially because it has no side effects.”
